Home care company receives achievement award
A home care company’s “extraordinary” level of growth has resulted in it receiving a national award.
Each year, Caremark presents achievement awards to a select number of its 85 franchisees across the UK and Ireland. This year one of the awards went to Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland). The award is in recognition of the way the company has been able to grow year-on-year despite operating in tough economic conditions.
Kevin Lewis, Chief Executive of Caremark, said: “Caremark (Redcar & Cleveland) have been recognized for their extraordinary levels of growth in 2013.
“With strong focus on valuing and supporting staff, this franchisee has successfully built a professional and dedicated team of staff enabling the business to maintain growth without compromising quality of service.”
Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) Managing Director, Charles Folkes said: “2013 was another challenging year with ever increasing pressure on budgets and margins.
“Despite this, the team at Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) delivered fantastic growth whilst ensuring that quality of care is always our main priority. We continue to strive to diversify the business and know that we can never relax or become complacent.”
From home care to a day centre for people with learning disabilities, Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) provides a wide range of care and support services.
These services, which cover an area from Whitby in North Yorkshire through to Saltburn, Loftus and Brotton in East Cleveland and onto Redcar, can range from helping people to cook a meal or take a bath, through to assisting those with more complex care needs, such a people who have dementia, physical disabilities or mental health problems.
The company which has its head office in Guisborough and employs 190 staff, is an approved provider of care and support for Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and North Yorkshire County Council.
