Beswicks triple challenge for Dougie Mac

Leading local law specialists Beswicks Solicitors are taking on a triple challenge to support Douglas Macmillan Hospice this May.

A team from the Festival Park based firm will take on the testing Three Peaks challenge on Friday 16th May, followed two days later by the Hospice’s Bike Ride and finally their Annual Golf Day at Trentham Golf Club on Thursday 22nd May.

The Bike Ride attracted over 1000 entrants last year with over £55,000 raised in sponsorship with the Golf Day raising over £40,000.

As well as supporting and organising their own fundraising events; Team Beswicks are also one of the solicitors supporting the Hospice’s Annual Make a Will Month campaign throughout May; where supporters can set up a free Will in return for a donation to Dougie Mac.

‘We are very pleased to again support the Hospice by using our combined efforts over three event to raise funds for a needed and valued community facility’

Liz Clarke, Head of Fundraising added,

“We cannot thank the team at Beswicks for their continued support, and for taking on these fundraising events to raise much needed funds for the Hospice.

“All the monies they raise will ensure the Hospice can continue to provide the highest level of care for local people of North Staffordshire facing a life limiting illness.”
