Arrow Cars signed up to sponsor YCCA event

Arrow Cars has announced that they will be supporting the 2014 Yorkshire Children of Courage Awards (YCCA) at the New Dock Hall, Leeds on October 10 2014.

This year Arrow become headline sponsor and will play a more proactive part before and during the event.

Following two year’s prior involvement with this high profile event as main sponsor, 2014 sees Arrow increasing their already significant investment in YCCA.

Arrow Cars operates in Leeds, Manchester and East Midlands with direct routes to the main airports in these regions.

The partnership with YCCA comes as they are set to launch a new E Class service.

Speaking on behalf of Arrow Cars, David Richmond, chairman said “We are delighted to be involved once again with this amazing award ceremony. To be part of it is a privilege to celebrate the remarkable achievements of Yorkshires Children of Courage.”

The third YCCA event was presented by Steph McGovern of BBC Breakfast and Jack Carroll, runner up in the 2013 Britain’s Got Talent Awards.

All previous records for fund raising were broken with an amazing £51,000+ raised for distribution to local causes via the Yorkshire committee of the St. James’s Place Foundation, the charitable arm of the prestigious, award winning St James’s Place Wealth Management Group.

Celebrity guests included The Chuckle Brothers, Billy Pearce, Gaynor Faye and Hannah Cockroft MBE. They were joined by sporting legends from Leeds United FC, Yorkshire Cricket and Leeds Rhinos, whilst the business world was represented by Terry George, the secret millionaire, and former Apprentice finalists Claire Young and Francesa MacDuff-Varley.

The 2014 event will be officially launched at Headingley Stadium on June 16 courtesy of Gary Hetherington and Leeds Rhinos.
