Woodruff & Co expand surveying team with senior appointment

Woodruff & Co Property Consultants has appointed a new Senior Surveyor to enhance the services provided from its Durham and Newcastle city-centre based offices.

Andy Bennett joins the team in response to an increased demand for residential survey and valuation instructions, and will be providing valuations, HomeBuyer Reports and Building Surveys across the County Durham, Tyne and Wear and Northumberland areas for the business.

With over 15 years’ experience, Andy has a First Class Degree in Building Surveying, is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and is a Chartered Building Engineer. Andy has made the move to Woodruff & Co from a national residential surveying practice where he spent ten years providing reports to mortgage lenders and private clients.

Prior to entering the residential field, he worked within the Building Consultancy Department of DTZ, an international property consultancy, where he dealt primarily with large scale repair and refurbishment contracts for pension funds and industrial concerns.

Andy said: “I am delighted to have joined the team at Woodruff and Co, as it gives me the opportunity to utilise the experience and local knowledge I have gained over the years to provide a quality-driven, personal service to clients throughout the North East.”
