Regional academy trust invited to No.10
Les Walton CBE, chairman and Roger Alston OBE, chief executive of the Northern Education Trust, the only northeast-based multi academy charitable trust, have been invited to 10 Downing Street to meet the Prime Minister at a reception to celebrate excellence in state education next Monday 12th May.
Both have worked in the education sector for over 40 years.
Northern Education Trust was established in 2012 and works with schools only by invitation. It currently sponsors 18 academies in northeast and northwest England.
The Trust is making great strides forward in improving the life chances of children and can demonstrate steadily improving academic results across its academies.
