Taylor&Emmet constructs perfect property team
Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP is expanding its commercial property provision, to build on its reputation and meet growing interest from public and private sector clients.
The firm has welcomed several new faces to its commercial property department in the last six months, most recently solicitor, Charlotte Harris.
After five years in a similar role at Walker Morris in Leeds, Charlotte joins Taylor&Emmet to handle a wide range of matters for individuals, businesses and social housing providers. She will be working with colleagues to increase awareness of the firm and strengthen links with agents, banks and other professional partners.
Charlotte’s appointment follows the addition of Taylor&Emmet’s first commercial property manager, Aimee Rippon, who worked previously at Nabarro’s Sheffield office. In this new role, she will be overseeing all aspects of the department’s services and assisting with large or complex matters. The firm’s social housing provision will now be led by associate solicitor, Jacqui Dyer, who joined the firm in January, aided by legal assistant, Harriett Pike.
Max Marrison, Taylor&Emmet’s head of commercial property, said: “The experience Charlotte gained in Leeds will complement our breadth of skills and further enhance the knowledge and expertise we offer clients. My team has a longstanding reputation in South Yorkshire for high quality legal advice and we aim to continue this good work, whilst growing our presence, particularly in the development, retail and social housing markets.”
