New faces for growing North East print firm
A North East print firm has recently increased its workforce by 15% after enjoying substantial growth over the past year, and is anticipating more employment to come.
Cramlington based flexographic printing plate specialists, Reproflex3 Ltd., has introduced new faces in different departments across the business, including customer services, quality control, marketing and its artwork studio.
Company founders and Joint Managing Directors, Andrew Hewitson and Trevor Lowes, described the recent upturn in employees as the ‘fantastic result’ of the firm’s continued growth.
Mr Lowes commented: “We have had to bring in new faces in quick succession due to a growing customer base, as well as exploring new market opportunities. This year we recorded 30% growth, so these are exciting times for the company.”
In 2014 already, Reproflex3’s packaging app scanning technology, Packlinc, was recognised as part of an award winning project and the firm also announced that it had opened talks to explore growth opportunities in Dubai.
Mr Hewitson said that this would mean further expansion which would lead to more employment: “There are many great things happening at Reproflex3 at the moment, both domestically and overseas, as well as our divisions, Sample-it and Packlinc, which form a large part of our growth strategy.”
“We’ll no doubt be looking at another round of employment here in the North East soon in order to support these operations”
