Winn Solicitors announces Senior Associates promotions

Winn Solicitors has announced the promotion of 9 Solicitors within the law firm. The promotions are in recognition of their hard work and dedication to the Company and will commence on 1st June 2014. The well-deserved promotions will strengthen the development team at Winns and help future proof growth strategy and continued success in the legal market place.

Solicitors Jo Amos and Joanne Blackwood and Compliance Solicitor Pauline Jones are all promoted to Senior Associates in the law firm.

In 1999 Jo Amos began working with Jeff Winn and Ghazala Bashey specialising in personal injury law at Singleton Winn McDermott. In 2002 Jeff and Ghazala formed the new company Winn Solicitors and Jo made the move to the new law firm. She is deputy head within the Trials team and has day to day control of the recruitment, training, supervision and guidance. Jo is a committed and respected member of the company and has been instrumental over the years in the development of the department.

Joanne Blackwood joined the company in 2002 and is the deputy head of the Clerks team. Joanne has worked extensively in the development, training and supervision of staff and future lawyers within the department.

Pauline Jones is a more recent addition to the Winn Solicitors team joining the company in 2012. She has a wealth of commercial experience and has been instrumental in the implementation of numerous contracts.

Director Dawn Winn comments: “From starting out with the company, Jo and Joanne have been outstanding lawyers, supervisors and deputies within their respective teams and are highly regarded in their field of expertise.

Pauline joined us as an expert in her field and she has not disappointed. We continue to invest in developing all of our people at Winns, and it is very pleasing to see those who have been committed to the company, such as Jo and Joanne and Pauline, rewarded and go on to secure Senior Associateship.“

Winn Solicitors are also delighted to announce that the following established Solicitors are now to become associates within the company; Lee Dixon, Emily Sunderland, David Richardson, Claire Farrell, Amy Graham and Helen Abraham.
