The ability to read must be key for employment

The summer holidays are almost over and for some families the worry of their children returning to school can loom, heavily over them. Sometimes the reason is that there are some children who cannot read or even spell their own name. The education system is doing it’s best but still our youngsters needs are not being met.

As a parent who has gone through this process with one of his own children and a leading Behavioural Change Coach, Matt Hudson, is offering free accelerated learning sessions to help kids to learn faster and read easier.

Matt’s new book ‘KIDS - Now They Come With A Manual’ will be launched in October 2014.

Sessions are 20 minutes long and will be held in at Park Villas, The Green, Wallsend - email kids@matthudson.com to reserve your children’s place.

KIDS – Now They Come With a Manual

Launch of the definitive children instruction handbook

Ever wished you had a manual for your kid? A clear instruction guide that would help you navigate the minefield of tantrums and “bad” behaviour that has turned your home into a battlefield as well as the general challenges of kids growing up. Haven’t we all? Your wish has been granted! Introducing KIDS – Now They Come With a Manual by Matt Hudson and Paul Dearlove.

This is a book that has been designed to put the power back in parents’ hands and to give them the confidence, skills and techniques to perform one of society’s most important roles. All kids, no matter who they are, deserve the chance to excel in school and to succeed in life and beyond with the help of the information and steps outlined in this new publication, parents are able to do exactly that.

Perhaps your child is no “problem kid”, but you have run out of ideas to help them with overcoming the obstacles they face at school, in the playground or with their academic work.

“When it comes to bringing up a kid, there is no right or wrong, there are just better ways,” explains author Matt Hudson. “All we aim to achieve with this book is to help parents lean towards a better way of raising their children and communicating more effectively with them.”

With the help of some of the most cutting-edge science on how the human brain works, authors Matt and Paul help parents, teachers and carers gain a greater understanding of what makes children tick. As a result they are empowered to guide and mentor kids through the challenges they face. Who knows, adults may even pick up a few tips for their own lives along the way.

“If you only take one of the techniques and it helps to improve the relationship you have with your child, that is excellent,” adds Paul. “If you apply more than one, that is amazing. And even if all this book achieves is to help raise your awareness so you are able to communicate better with your child, then that is good enough too.”

This is no quick fix handbook. After all, kids aren’t electronic devices that can be programmed to achieve specific outcomes. They are, like adults, complex human beings. What Matt and Paul have achieved with this “manual” is to create an extremely workable framework to help you to help your kids realise the magical potential they were born with.

“Every day I see more and more of our children taking prescription drugs to survive in the world,” concludes Matt. “Parents need to understand how the mind, the brain, their communication and connections to their child can ultimately release them from a world of conformity, into a world of possibility.”

’Kids – Now They Come With a Manual’ will be available for purchase through Amazon and book stores and can be digitally downloaded from www.matthudson.com. RRP £12.95.
