Solicitors Ladies Night boosts local charity fundraising efforts.
In aid of local cancer charity, Daft as a Brush cancer patient care, TLW Solicitors organised a Ladies Night spectacular with the aim to raise funds for the charity.
Laura Brown, from TLW Solicitors hosted the fundraising evening for the charity that was set up to provide transport for cancer patients to and from the Freeman and Royal Victoria Infirmary in the local community.
The event was a huge success, with attendance from local business and charities including Daykin and Storey and Pathways4all, with generous raffle prize donations including a champagne afternoon for two at the Baltic, a spa day, Ringtons tea set and St James tickets. There was also entertainment by local duo metro acoustics as well as a clothes swish and delicious TLW themed cupcakes.
Laura Brown, Marketing Executive for TLW Solicitors said,
‘I really wanted to organise a Ladies Night with a difference, where everyone could come together and have lots of fun but raise much needed funds for a charity that supports so many cancer patients and their families at a very difficult time’.
Over £400 was raised on the evening, which will contribute to the charities annual target of £100,000.
