According to The Telegraph, Mike Ashley willing to listen to offers to sell Newcastle United after seven years in charge at the club.
Ashley currently owns a 10% stake in Scottish club has been prevented from increasing his stake further by the Scottish Football Association.
Uefa rules stipulate the same person cannot own two clubs that might meet each other in European competitions.
The Newcastle boss, who made his millions from the retail chain Sports Direct, already owns the naming rights to the Ibrox Stadium but is yet to take action.
Ashley is expected to offload Newcastle United for around £230 million, which includes repayment of the £129 million he is owed in the form of interest-free loans.
Ashley bought the club for just £134 million from Sir John Hall and Freddie Shepherd in 2007.
Ashley has tried to sell up twice before, once in 2008 following Kevin Keegan’s resignation, and again in 2009 for just £100 million after relegation to the Championship.
