Sorbys Appoints Lettings Expert to Drive Growth
Barnsley estate agent, Sorbys, is expanding its team to meet rising demand from local homeowners and landlords.
David Butler will head up residential lettings at the independent firm and increase capacity in the sales operation, to reflect the recent upturn in the property market.
Working alongside Sorbys managing director, Grant Sorby, David will be the key point of contact for landlords and tenants of new and existing rental properties managed by the firm. Having worked in estate agency for more than ten years, he has experienced all aspects of the role and has industry recognised qualifications in sales and lettings.
Grant Sorby said: “This year has seen a significant increase in new business for us, thanks to our growing reputation in Barnsley and a general upturn in market activity. I have no doubt David will be an asset to the firm – his expertise, particularly within the lettings sector, will retain our high levels of customer care and enhance our presence in South Yorkshire.”
Both Grant and David are fully qualified Domestic Energy Assessors, enabling Sorbys to offer competitive sales and lettings packages by keeping all aspects of the process in house. The firm is also implementing new software to further improve the service it offers to Barnsley residents, increase operational efficiency and allow the firm to communicate with clients more easily.
