Megan keeps GB's dream alive
Stockport College sports science student Megan Gaunt has just returned from the U19 Women’s Water Polo European Championships in Rome where she represented Great Britain. Megan’s goal keeping skills helped GB to claim seventh place in the t…ournament after reaching the quarter finals and beating Ukraine in the play off. They beat Portugal and Slovakia on their way to compete in the last eight. Great Britain have now qualified for the for the 2015 World Championships in Guadalajara in Mexico. Megan has just started the second year of the level 3 Sports Science course. She will combine her studies with full time training with the British team at Manchester Aquatic Centre in preparation for the world championships. visit: www.stockport.ac.uk
