Leeds online event organiser wins £150k of new business
Leeds-based online event organiser Ivent, has announced significant business wins in the education sector with new contracts totalling in excess of £150k.
London’s Kings College, Middlesex and York University have all recently commissioned Ivent to deliver online events showcasing the institutions in virtual open days as well as student recruitment events,
The ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), the global body for professional accountants, is the latest to utilise the company’, appointing Ivent to deliver two events.
Ivent hosted ACCA’s 2014 graduate recruitment event this month, aiming to attract the new graduates into the industry’s top firms.
Major organisations such as Baker Tilly, Deloitte and Grant Thornton exhibited and showcased their current graduate placements to prospective graduates via branded displays.
Gavin Newman, Ivent’s director said: “Since our launch in 2010, Ivent has cut events bills in the graduate recruitment market by up to 80% for savvy brands such as Morgan Stanley, Johnson & Johnson, Talk Talk and Dyson who have been quick to embrace the financial and logistical benefits of online events.
“The need to reach a wider, even international audience quickly and cost effectively makes a virtual environment the obvious solution for the education sector and companies targeting students and graduates who are far more online orientated than ever before.
“The education sector is certainly emerging as a massive growth market for Ivent, but considering the competition to attract students, particularly from a wealthy international market, it’s unsurprising to see more and more opting to use online technology rather than staging costly and resource intensive physical events.”
Founded in 2010, Yorkshire-based Ivent specialises in the design, management and delivery of online events utilising its own virtual event & webcasting platform.
Ivent’s market leading solutions enable attendees to participate and engage at conferences, trade shows, corporate meetings, sales and marketing meetings, training sessions, and job fairs without setting foot outside their office.
