Scunthorpe law firm Pepperells acquires Hull company
Hull and Scunthorpe based law firm Pepperells today announced the acquisition of historic Hull based Myer Wolff with funding from Barclays.
Pepperells, which was established in Scunthorpe in 1985, merged with Hull based company Ivesons in 2009.
The newly enlarged group will have offices at Alfred Gelder Street in Hull and Doncaster Road, Scunthorpe.
Ben Pepperell, partner of Pepperells said: “Pepperells is a dynamic and growing legal practice offering its clients a wide range of legal services.
“The acquisition of Myer Wolff will enable to further diversify our products and provide a holistic range of advice for clients across Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
“We look forward to welcoming the new team and taking the business to the next level.”
Barclays has been working with Pepperells for over ten years and funded both acquisitions for Ivesons and Myer Wolff.
Dan Wilson, Barclays relationship director commented: “Pepperells is a highly professional and progressive brand that is thriving despite the current economic challenges.
“The management’s ambitious growth plans are testament to their success and this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading law firm that has great coverage across the Humber region.”
