Sefton Park Hotel prepares for a spooktacular Halloween party
Sefton Park Hotel is set to host a frightfully fun fundraiser this Halloween (Friday, October 31).
From 7pm, hundreds of ghoulish guests will gather at the Victorian villa to help raise vital funds for Claire House Children’s Hospice.
Whilst donning their most scary attire, both adults and children will be treated to a fiendish feast, alongside toffee apples and ‘poisonous potions’.
Chief Executive of Sefton Park Hotel Conor O’Donovan said: “We hope that our Halloween party will be fun for every one of all ages. To really set the scene, our venue will be transformed into a haunted mansion, and to top it off the team and I will also be sporting fancy dress.
“By attending the spooky soiree, guests will be given the feel-good factor as all of the proceeds will be donated to Claire House.”
Throughout the evening, visitors can enjoy varied entertainment including fortune readings, raffles and an appropriately themed disco. Additionally, a best-dressed competition will take place, whereby one adult and one child will be awarded with an assortment of prizes.
Lucy Brady, Halloween event organiser and director at High Performance Consultancy said: “It’s always a pleasure working alongside Conor to host the annual Halloween charity event. So far we have raised £9000 for Claire House and we hope to increase this sum following the event, in addition to our on-going charitable efforts.
“Unlike hospitals, the children’s hospice enables families to spend precious time with their ill children/babies, in a homely and non-clinical environment. Therefore, it’s great to raise considerable amounts of money for such a worthy cause.”
Dan Halliday, fundraiser at Claire House Children’s Hospice added: “Lucy who is climbing Everest Base Camp in 2015, has been an incredible fundraiser for Claire House Children’s Hospice and has raised lots of money and awareness for the charity. She has carried out a series of fundraising activity throughout the year and the Halloween party is set to be a wonderful addition.”
The Halloween party will take place at Sefton Park Hotel from 7pm. Admission is free, however donations to Claire House Children’s Hospice are welcomed.
