Stylish North East Hotel Celebrates 10th Anniversary

A STYLISH hotel on of the UK’s most famous streets is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a prize giveaway.

Grade II listed Grey Street Hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne, is at the heart of the city centre on a Georgian street, named after Earl Grey and once voted one of the best in Britain.

Now, to mark the 49-bedroom hotel’s first decade in business, its owner; Newcastle-based The Malhotra Group, is giving 10 people the chance to win an overnight stay for two with a whole range of VIP perks.

Throughout December it is inviting entries on its website and via social media, which will be entered into a prize draw with the winner to be announced in January 2015.

Not only will the 10 lucky winners and their guests enjoy a night in a Junior Suite and breakfast the following morning, but they will also be treated to a bottle of Prosecco in their room along with chocolates, flowers, a fruit platter and robes.

“In the past decade the hotel has gone from strength to strength – so much so that we are currently making plans to develop it still further,” said Atul Malhotra, director of The Malhotra Group.

“And we thought there was no better way of celebrating our 10th anniversary than by giving people the chance to experience a VIP stay at this lovely venue, free of charge.”

As part of an ongoing refurbishment and development of the hotel, The Malhotra Group recently announced plans for a modern, two-storey, 120m² extension and terrace on top of the existing building to create a new area for conferences and weddings, a bar, a new cafe, a spa and events space.

Entries to the prize draw can be made throughout December via the hotel’s website www.greystreethotel.co.uk, or through its Facebook and Twitter accounts. The winners will be notified in January and must claim their prizes within six months.
