North Yorkshire caravan park sold in multimillion pound deal
Edwards and Partners, has completed the sale of Lido Leisure Park, one of the largest caravan parks in North Yorkshire.
Edwards and Partners, which is a specialist division of chartered surveyors and property consultants Sanderson Weatherall, deals exclusively with leisure property.
The firm offered the business and property for sale and successfully concluded a multi-million pound transaction.
The business was bought by Frank Maguire, a successful entrepreneur who operates several other caravan parks in the North of England.
The purchaser plans to further invest in the park to create a 5 star holiday park with leisure facility.
Lido Leisure Park is located in a stunning riverside setting within the Nidd Gorge on the outskirts of Knaresborough.
William Reynolds, director at Edwards and Partners, said: “There was a great deal of interest in this site thanks to its excellent position and high commercial value. As specialists in this field we were ideally placed to identify parties for whom the business would be of interest and secure the deal, which was achieved by way of a sale of shares in a company.”
