6 charged in Warrington’s Total Asset Ltd fraud case
Six men have been formally charged with conspiracy to commit fraud with regards to Warrington-based funder Total Asset Ltd (TAL).
The company collapsed with debts of £150 million in January 2011.
The six charged are three former employees of TAL - Stephen Dartnell, George Alexander and Kerry Lloyd, and Elfed Thomas and Carl Cumiskey, formerly of H2O Networks Ltd; Simon Mundy, formerly of KBC Lease (UK) Ltd.
They have been charged with conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation.
The charges are in connection with the purchase of a number of agreements by KBC and Barclays Asset Finance from TAL.
