ADP and bfa simplify HR for franchise sector
The British Franchise Association (bfa) and Surrey-based ADP, a global provider of human capital management solutions, have announced a new collaboration for the benefit of the franchise sector, with ADP becoming a Brand Partner of the Association.
ADP offers a diverse range of services, tailored to the needs of franchise businesses, including employment law advice, HR administration, background screening and payroll processing. It helps businesses of all sizes and sectors to keep up to date and compliant with legislative changes, leaving owners free to focus on running their core business.
bfa Brand Partners are a select group of organisations dedicated to providing a high level of support to the franchising industry. These organisations work closely with the bfa to provide advantageous products and services to members in recognition of their ethical standing in the industry.
The partnership comes after ADP provided specialist advice at two bfa events in 2014, including the Association’s annual conference, discussing issues around auto enrolment and pension scheme planning for franchise businesses.
Simon Bartholomew, chair of the bfa, said: “In an ever-changing legislative landscape this is an important partnership offering expert professional advice to our members. It’s especially timely with the obligations of auto enrolment coming to the fore for increasing numbers of franchisors and franchisees alike.
“It was clear following our annual conference that ADP was the right partner for the bfa. Having demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the regulatory challenges facing the franchise community, ADP has created a variety of specialist solutions to comprehensively meet them.
“HR management has been consistently cited in the annual bfa/NatWest Franchise Survey as an area of compliance requiring significant time and effort, so we look forward to a long-term relationship with one of the leading companies in this area.”
André Robberts, division vice president of sales & marketing at ADP UK, said: “We have invested significantly in order to create a range of solutions that fit perfectly into the unique franchise business model. An outsourced system is ideal for franchisors, ensuring that there is an element of uniformity across their network, while giving them confidence that franchisees are provided with the best tools to succeed. We look forward to working with the bfa to give their members access to the best HR tools and advice, enabling them to focus on driving further business success in the future.”
