Rotherham family-run PC and laptop repair firm expands premises with six-figure loan

Rotherham-based Pc-PartX, an independent run family business, has moved into new, larger premises with funding support from NatWest.

The business is located on the corner of Bawtry Road and Cross Street at Bramley close to the M18 and M1. The new shop is stocked with products for gaming, business and home PC users.

Pc-PartX provides a range of services including PC and laptop repair, support and installation, hard drive back up, data recovery, virus removal and same day screen repairs.

Other services available in store are iPhone, iPad and iPod screen repairs and game console repairs.

Paul Middleton, owner of Pc-PartX, said: “I have a background in motorcycling. I was a regional operations manager for a motorcycle business.

“I left the business and went to college then university and did a few different jobs before I got a call saying Pc-PartX was available.

“Five years on the business is still going strong and we have moved to larger premises on the main Bawtry Road which is great.”

Pc-PartX employs three people and two apprentices, a figure Paul hopes to increase following the move.

NatWest relationship manager Stuart MacLaren obtained a six-figure loan to facilitate as part of the Government-backed Funding for Lending scheme.

Stuart said: “I was delighted to support Pc-PartX on its purchase of new premises as part of it business aspirations. It’s a great business which continues to thrive and I wish the business every success for the future.”
