Sky to create 300 tech jobs in Leeds
Sky is creating around 300 new jobs in Leeds as part of the development of a new hub for the entertainment company’s technical services.
The technical team which will be housed in new premises, yet to be confirmed, within the city and will be looking for everything from entry level candidates and graduates through to senior team leaders and managers.
New employees will work with the latest technology across the widest range of platforms using JavaScript, Groovy, Ruby, Node JS, Angular JS and Kanban.
Sky already has strong links with Leeds and Sheffield University and will be sourcing graduates for a proportion of the jobs as part of its commitment to Sky Academy and working with young people.
The recruitment campaign is already underway, and Sky aims to have filled all of the positions by June 2015.
