Senior attorney to chair panel in New Orleans
Simon Bradbury, the Head of Life Sciences at Appleyard Lees has been invited to speak and chair a panel discussion at a key global conference in February.
He will preside over an educational round table on ‘Maximizing Patent Protection and Minimizing Patent Risks in Europe’ at the 2015 Annual Meeting of AUTM (The Association of University Technology Managers), which is being held in New Orleans, USA on 22-25 February. The panel will comprise senior technology managers from three continents.
Simon commented: “I am delighted to be involved in the conference at such a high level. The Annual AUTM Meeting is a major event in the technology transfer diary with industry dealmakers and investors networking and meeting with most academic research institutes from around the world. The core purpose of AUTM is to support and advance academic technology transfer globally. Appleyard Lees has historically provided IP support and advice to a number of key European academic and research institutes and also represent a number of US, Japanese and Korean universities and institutes before the European Patent Office.”
Appleyard Lees has offices at Manchester, Leeds, and Halifax and has recently opened a new office at the BioHub at Alderley Park.
