Clough & Willis Expands Residential Property Department

Bury based law Clough & Willis has grown its Residential Property team following the appointment of Daniel Frederiksen as a conveyancing assistant. Daniel is also an associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

Daniel, who has joined Clough & Willis from Countrywide Conveyancing Services, is working alongside Lorraine Stratton-Webb, partner & head of the firm’s Residential Conveyancing Department and Shefali Talukdar – managing partner. His role includes handling the sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties as well as right-to-buy cases.

Daniel has worked in residential conveyancing for two years and studied Law at Staffordshire University. He also worked as an estate agent for five years.

Shefali Talukdar commented: “Daniel’s arrival reflects the buoyancy that we are experiencing within residential conveyancing. The market is most definitely on the up and we have seen a rise in instructions over the past 12 months. This is positive news and we’re delighted that Daniel is now part of the growing Clough & Willis team.“

Whilst Daniel said of his appointment: “Clough & Willis has a reputation for being customer focused which is something that I think is extremely important – especially in a sector that is becoming ever more commoditised. I’m now looking forward to bedding in and helping my colleagues to develop our residential conveyancing service across the region.“
