ABP UK strengthens its senior team

ABP UK, provider of world-class meat products, has appointed Darren Jones as Commercial Director. Working across all of ABP’s UK plants, Darren will be responsible for the leadership of the sales division and other key commercial activities. Darren, who has spent his entire career in the meat industry, is also a Livery Man in the Worshipful Company Of Butchers and has a very keen understanding of issues affecting the industry as a whole. Having worked across a variety of roles within ABP, starting as a tea boy in ABP Northampton, to a trainee sales person in Ellesmere to Commercial Manager and General Manager at ABP Doncaster, Darren brings to the role a range of skills and experience as well as a complete understanding of the company.
