Hill Dickinson appointed to NHS Commercial Alliance Framework

Leading commercial law firm, Hill Dickinson, has been appointed to the NHS Commercial Alliance framework to provide legal services to NHS organisations across the country.

The law firm’s specialist health team has been appointed on a 4 year agreement and will provide a full range of legal services to framework members from its offices in London, Sheffield, Manchester and Liverpool.

Almost 70 NHS organisations across England are members of NHS Commercial Alliance, including a range of acute trusts, mental health trusts, community trusts, clinical commissioning groups and the national ambulance procurement group. The alliance aims to improve the delivery of NHS services by providing collaborative procurement benefits to its members.

Philip Spicer, Acting Performance Director at NHS Commercial Solutions, said “NHS Commercial Alliance is delighted to have awarded this new framework agreement, which is available to all NHS organisations, and other public and third sector organisations in England. We believe that the quality of the service providers, coupled with the added value benefits that the agreement will deliver will appeal and be favourable to all trusts.”

Lawford Martin, Partner and Head of Healthcare at Hill Dickinson, said: “We are extremely pleased to have been appointed to all lots under the NHS Commercial Alliance framework. The framework will enable its members to access leading legal support through a competitively procured framework agreement.

“We have continued to expand our geographic reach and this appointment to the NHS Commercial Alliance framework will allow us to offer our legal services to a wider range of healthcare organisations from our locations across the country.”
