Manchester’s Voicescape Limited acquires two businesses and RBS funding

Manchester-based Voicescape Limited has secured funding from The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) following the successful completion of two new business acquisitions.

Voicescape, a voice technology provider, has secured a working capital facility with the bank which will provide additional cash flow to support the running of the new businesses and further organic growth.

The funding deal follows the acquisition of Driverscope Limited, a specialist consumer research business that provides solutions for car dealerships nationwide and The Housing Contact Company Limited, a tenant communications provider.

Managing director of Voicescape Limited, John Doyle, said: “The acquisition of Driverscope and The Housing Contact Company is great news for Voicescape as these businesses complement our existing offering perfectly and provide synergy.

“Their integration into Voicescape has also been made much easier thanks to the funding deal we have secured with RBS. The overdraft is really supporting our cash flow at the moment, enabling us to concentrate our efforts on merging the businesses rather than worrying about short term finances.

“I’d like to thank Simon Parkinson and the team at RBS for their support – it has been exemplary and I have been impressed by the speed at which the deal has been agreed and carried out.”

Business Relationship Manager at The Royal Bank of Scotland, Simon Parkinson, said: “I am thrilled that we have been able to support John and the team at Voicescape.

“The acquisitions are proving to be a wise move for the company and I am glad that our support has enabled the management team to concentrate on their successful integration more fully.

“Our aim is to deliver the right funding solutions to our customers in a timely manner and I am pleased that we have been able to do this and support Voicescape during this period of growth.”
