Further Expansion in Sunderland for English School of Motoring

Established since 2005, English School of Motoring has thrived month by month, year by year, enjoying an above 80% pass rate across the North East of England. Successful students from Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool, Redcar, Sunderland, Newcastle and more have continued to choose this professional driving school in order to achieve their goal. In a bid to cope with the heightened demand for lessons, owner Simon Capeling has chosen to create an advertising buzz in the Sunderland area and is now recruiting for further instructors to join the existing team.

With a population nearing 300,000 the city of Sunderland offers high end colleges as well as a prolific university, attracting students of all ages from across the UK. As the city continues to prosper it appears that more and more individuals are wanting to pass their driving test. “Over the past few months we have received a huge increase in enquiries for driving lessons in Sunderland”, says Simon Capeling. “In order to meet this demand we are looking to expand further and would like to take on more instructors for the area. We are extremely excited and privileged as a company to be involved in the growth the city is currently experiencing. The ability to create jobs for people is just fantastic”.

The career of a driving instructor is certainly an alternative one that includes much job satisfaction alongside the ability to earn up to £40k per year. English School of Motoring would like to speak with keen and ambitious individuals who would like to embark upon a self employed role for a fast growing company. With a focus on the Sunderland area, interested parties are required to approach with a patient, focused and understanding outlook for the task that lies ahead and to also be prepared for the influx of enquiries they are likely to receive.

We asked owner, Simon Capeling about the requirements attached to this life long career. “Interested parties must be over 21 and hold a clean driving licence for a minimum term of three and a half years. Being an instructor allows you to choose your own working hours and in order to reach this point we ask potentials to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours a week whilst working towards instructor status”. The passion coming across whilst speaking with Mr Capeling was not only evident but infectious also. Simon continued, explaining that interested parties would be subject to a CRB check, have plenty of patience and portray an extremely high standard of communication skills. “We like all of our students to feel relaxed and grow with confidence as lessons progress. This is a highly important factor that contributes to our reputation”.

If you are interested in becoming a driving instructor, particularly in the Sunderland area, you will need to complete a series of 3 tests as developed by the Driving Standards Agency. During part 1, you will undergo theory and hazard perception. Upon completion of Part 2 which involves the practical elements, you will be able to apply for a trainee licence before sitting the final and most important exam within part 3 - Instructional Ability. Upon completion of all three sections, English School of motoring will offer you a guaranteed franchise position within their prospering business.
