Newcastle’s Bede Gaming appoint NRG as recruitment partner

Newcastle’s Bede Gaming has appointed NRG as its recruitment partner, with the software company looking to fill 75 roles in the coming two to three years

Bede Gaming was founded in May 2012 with a vision to become the best platform provider in the online gambling world.

It has since grown a 120-strong workforce, opened additional offices in London and Bulgaria and built up a client list featuring some of the biggest names in the online gambling industry.

Among them is Rank Group, the biggest UK-based operator of casinos and bingo halls, which recently agreed a deal to work with Bede.

It has also just moved to a new site at Newcastle Great Park, which is significantly bigger than its former home in Gosforth to accommodate this growth.

On the back of this, and other contract wins, the company is currently working solely with NRG on a recruitment drive to fill 75 roles in the coming two to three years.

NRG will manage the recruitment process, enabling Bede to access the creative and technical talent needed to maintain its on-going success.

NRG is committed to providing experienced candidates and high calibre graduates who are avid enthusiasts for the gaming sector.

To date, NRG has worked to support well-established global brands such as Sage, Accenture, Hewlett-Packard and now Bede Gaming will benefit from NRG’s approach.

Chris Bone, head of specialist recruitment at NRG, said: “We are delighted to partner with Bede Gaming on this exciting project, Bede’s services are expanding quickly and they require a high volume of skilled and experienced team members in a relatively short period of time.”

“This is great news for the region and a great opportunity for candidates in the North; lots of people will benefit from this partnership. We’re introducing the North’s leading developers, engineers and gaming specialists to Bede so that they can secure the next step in their career.”

Andy Thompson, HR manager at Bede Gaming, said: “NRG twins effective implementation with an eagerness to learn about business, creating an effective, productive and beneficial way to manage employee requirements. NRG is now embedded into our business and embraces our industry. To date, candidates have been an ideal fit for our business and have brought a significant level of expertise gained in similar organisations just as we requested.”
