SCHOOLS North East welcomes Castle Grange Technologies

Castle Grange Technologies are now part of SCHOOLS NorthEast; the first and only school-led regional network in the UK.

In 2007, a group of Head Teachers came together to form SCHOOLS NorthEast. Their aim was to create a unique culture of collaboration and mutual support amongst North East schools to ensure the best possible outcomes for all of the region’s young people.

Over the years, the network has worked to facilitate new projects and additional support, connect schools to each other and external organisations such as businesses.

Stephen Gibson, General Manager of Castle Grange Technologies said: “As a company we have offered a great service to schools locally for many years and our success has enabled us to grow. We now have the capacity to help schools throughout the North East and we hope that becoming a member of SCHOOLS NorthEast will be our first real step into more schools throughout the region. We want to work with them to take affordable technology solutions into their schools and ultimately help improve student learning.

“We also believe that SCHOOLS NorthEast is important for our brand, we are always keen to help schools however we can and we have done this by providing free audio visual support for charity events. However, we haven’t really promoted this kind of support.

“By being a member of SCHOOLS NorthEast five percent of our annual membership fee is donated to the Partner Schools Grant Scheme. The scheme is used to pilot ideas and support collaborative activities to address educational priorities in the North East. We feel this provides a visible demonstration of our commitment to education.”

Castle Grange will be taking advantage of the excellent events set up by SCHOOLS NorthEast by attending both the ‘School Business Managers Conference’ and the ‘Annual Summit’. The events provide the opportunity for Castle Grange to catch up with school leaders who they have developed strong relationships with over the years, as well as meeting with other school leaders throughout the North East.
