Laserform Hub preferred solution for Companies House gateway
Cloud-based product used for more than 95% of mortgage submissions
Advanced Legal’s cloud-based SaaS product, the Laserform Hub has been confirmed as the preferred management product for registering charges with the Government’s Companies House gateway.
Data provided by the government agency shows that in the past nine months more than 95% of mortgage filings submitted using software solutions were completed via the Laserform Hub. Advanced Legal has, in the last few months, also seen several top 100 firms implement the Hub as part of their standardised practices.
Since implementing the solution some firms have reported a reduction in the submission process from 21 days to less than 24 hours. This, combined with the ability to monitor the current status of all forms across the organisation, has given firms greater insight and control of their day-to-day submission activities.
The Laserform Hub, which launched in December 2014, has been designed to meet the needs of the law firms looking to benefit from the Government’s ‘digital by default’ strategy. The Hub allows electronic form submission to multiple government portals from a single location and provides one place for firms to manage multiple agency submissions.
The solution was developed with support from government agencies to offer law firms a seamless process from submission to completion – delivering an additional layer of benefits such as dashboard reporting and alerts that are not available through direct submission routes.
Doug Hargrove, Managing Director, Advanced Legal, says, “This government data clearly places the Laserform Hub as an established product in the legal market. It is a clear indicator that we are continuing to meet the needs of the market and satisfying a government requirement.
“Companies House is only the beginning. Over the coming months the Laserform Hub will launch a combined process for Stamp Duty Land Tax and Land Registry applications with many more integrations planned for the future. It’s an exciting development for Advanced Legal and one that will benefit every legal firm in the UK.”
