Ital Logistics moves into new premises in Heywood
Five new jobs will be created at freight services company, Ital Logistics thanks to Natwest funding support.
The company is moving into new premises in Heywood after enjoying a period of steady growth and reporting turnover of £9.3m in 2014.
Ital Logistics provides driver-accompanied road freight services to and from Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece, as well as providing freight forwarding services between most other Western, Central and Eastern European countries.
The firm’s specialisation lies within the transport of dangerous goods such as chemicals with almost 25% of its transportation in this area.
The business recently moved its banking arrangements to NatWest.
managing director of Ital Logistics, Phil Denton, said: “We had been residing in third party premises in Sharston, near Wythenshawe, and simply reached the point where we needed to increase space, both office and warehouse, and also yard space for the growing number of trailers coming in and out on a daily basis.
“Our relationship manager Mike Clarke was able to come up with a funding solution which contributed to facilitating the move and allow for us to continue pursuing business growth opportunities.”
Mike said: “I was delighted to support Ital Logistics with this funding agreement.
“It’s a well-established business with a strong portfolio and I look forward to working with the business in the future.”
