Positive help Jade Babycare grow
Bradford based, Jade Babycare Logistics Ltd (“Jade”) has seen significant growth since taking on funding from Manchester based, invoice finance specialists, Positive Cashflow Finance (“Positive”) in 2010.
The directors, Phil Nunn and Richard Gill both have a background in general haulage before a chance meeting with Mamas and Papas, changed the direction the business was heading. Jade now deliver and build flat pack furniture for both commercial and private individuals throughout the UK.
The working capital facility has assisted in expanding the business by having access to funding straight away rather than waiting for their customers to pay. Initially they had a £100,000 facility which has steadily increased in line with their sales. Positive recently increased their funding line to £350,000.
Jade achieved a turnover of £2million in 2014 and are confident they will surpass the £2.5million mark in 2015. Jade now employs 44 staff throughout the UK and expect this to continue to increase as the business grows.
Phil Nunn, director at Jade said: “The support we have received from Positive has been fantastic and assisted our growth over the past 4 years.
“We have a fantastic working relationship with them and would recommend their services to any business owners that are looking to increase turnover.”
Phil Chesham, sales and marketing director at Positive said: “Phil and Richard have found a niche in the market and are a prime example of how invoice finance can support the growth plans of a business.”
Positive is an independent invoice finance provider with offices in Manchester and Birmingham offering facilities from £10,000 to £1m.
