Kelda Group’s property trading arm and sister-company to Yorkshire Water, Keyland Developments Ltd, has has launched a strategic site in Honley, West Yorkshire.

Keyland Developments Ltd, the property trading arm of Kelda Group and sister-company to Yorkshire Water, has launched a strategic site in Honley, West Yorkshire to market with planning permission in place for employment use.

The unused 1.42 acre brownfield site, which is being put on market with planning permission in place for employment use, is located besides the Neiley Water Works on the A616 New Mill Road, the main arterial route linking Huddersfield with Sheffield.

Keyland Developments has secured planning permission for a development of approximately 26,000 sq ft of B1 and B8 space for employment use with 53 car parking spaces.

The brownfield site has already been launched to market by Huddersfield’s Hanson Chartered Surveyors, who are under instruction to seek best and final bids by Friday 22nd May.

Keyland Developments has been regenerating redundant former Yorkshire Water sites for over 20 years and has vast experience in renovating strategic, underutilized sites across the region.

Ryan Unsworth, development manager at Keyland Developments, said: “Vacant brownfield sites such as these have huge potential to be brought back into use for the benefit of the locality by creating quality provision for local and regional businesses. This particular site is ideally suited for employment usage, located in an established commercial area between Honley and Brockholes and with direct frontage to New Mill Road. By securing the planning consent, we have unlocked the potential of the site and facilitated important future regeneration opportunities.”
