Happy Jays nursery at Hopper Hill Road celebrates 10th anniversary in style
Scarborough’s Happy Jays nursery at Hopper Hill Road has marked its 10th anniversary with a feast of fun and entertainment.
Based at Scarborough Business Park, the nursery, rated outstanding by Ofsted has doubled in size since launching in 2005, now employs 21 staff and is planning further growth.
One of the six-strong Happy Jays group of private nurseries across Yorkshire, Happy Jays nursery at Hopper Hill Road hosted a children’s party throughout the day, with entertainment including a performer, bouncy castle, face painting and a special party tea.
Nursery manager, Danielle Speight, commented: “We were very excited to mark our momentous 10th year in Scarborough on May 1 and wanted to make a splash by putting on a special party for all the children to enjoy.
“It’s been tremendous to see more and more parents recommending us and we’re looking forward to developing additional job opportunities for the local community as part of our vibrant expansion plans. “
