Shinji Kitamura joins The WACO System Board
Global independent freight network The WACO System has welcomed Shinji Kitamura to its Board of Directors.
Kitamura, Managing Director (MD), Nishi Nippon Railroad (NNR) Global Logistics, brings with him over threedecades of experience in the logistics and transportindustry.“I am delighted to be joining The WACO System Board ata period of growth for our network,” said Kitamura.
“I look forward to working even more closely with myfellow members and through this role championing newbusiness opportunities for our network of independentfreight forwarders.”
Kitamura joined NNR Global Logistics in 1981, and hasheld numerous roles in the firm whilst being stationedaround the world at cities including Tokyo and Osaka,Japan, New York City and Chicago, USA, and London, UK.
He was appointed MD of the logistics firm in June 2014,and attended his first meeting with The WACO System in2007 in Bangkok, Thailand.

NNR Global Logistics has been a member of The WACO System since 1982. The WACO System welcomed over 100 delegates to its Annual General Meeting in Rome, Italy in April 2015.
