Floorbrite expands with new waste management division

Sale based cleaning and facilities service provider, Floorbrite, is today announcing its expansion into the waste management sector.

The firm, which employs more than 1,000 people across the north of England, will provide bespoke waste management and recycling services to help companies reduce waste costs and reduce the environmental impact of waste disposal.

Headed up by Waste Management and Environmental Consultant, Trudie Williams who joins with 15 years experience in the recycling industry, the new service will streamline waste management, taking into account operational constraints, specific environmental objectives, and equipment costs involved. After a thorough audit, Floorbrite will make a recommendation of the most cost effective way to handle waste, and will source the best route and rebates available.

Managing Director John Perkins said: “As one of the UK’s biggest cleaning and facility service providers, we are really focused on making our customer’s lives as easy as possible when it comes to outsourcing maintenance requirements and introducing the new waste management solutions division only shows our commitment to doing just that.

“Trudie comes to us with many years experience in the recycling and environmental sector and is already working with some of our biggest clients to provide them with a bespoke waste management package. Sustainability and reducing our impact on the environment is at the top of many companies’ agenda, and we’re already able to prove that just a few smart changes can help achieve those environmental goals.”

Floorbrite works with clients in the retail, office, healthcare, education, manufacturing, industrial, entertainment and leisure sector and its impressive client list includes Aldi, The Lowry, Manchester Grammar School, JD Sports, and Duo UK.

Offering a full suite of cleaning and facility services, including window cleaning, carpet cleaning, pest control and plants and landscaping amongst many others, Floorbrite was set up in 1972 by the late Martin Wyers and continues to be run by Directors, Alex Wyers, Nik Wyers, Nina Wyers, Jane Anderson, Helen Gosnay, Managing Director John Perkins and Chair Woman Linda Wyers.
