New offices in Manchester and Liverpool fuel growth for Jackson Canter solicitors
Jackson Canter solicitors has seen a 15% increase in turnover and 20% increase in underlying profit this year.
The solicitors put its increases down to new offices opening in Manchester and Liverpool along with investments in staff.
The profit increase enabled Jackson Canter to invest £1.2 million in new Liverpool and Manchester offices, both of which are now fully operational.
CEO at Jackson Canter, Andrew Holroyd, said: “Our team turned in another strong performance this year, by delivering quality results for our growing client base.
“We have attracted new instructions and strengthened existing relationships in both our commercial and private operations, and our investments in people and offices will drive further growth in the coming years.
“We are actively looking at opportunities to expand the teams in both Manchester and Liverpool through natural growth as well as acquisitions and other opportunities.”
The Liverpool move saw staff move into the Walker Building at Exchange Flags, while the Manchester office opened at 111 Piccadilly.
The central location of the Manchester office has allowed Jackson Canter to offer free drop-in sessions on Wednesday afternoons for new and existing clients seeking family law advice.
The Exchange Flags office is an addition to the firm’s base on Dale Street in the heart of the city’s commercial district.
Jackson Canter provides commercial and private law services to clients across the North West from three offices, and the 170-strong team specialises in a number of areas, including family law and action vs. police, for which the firm has built a national reputation following its involvement in the Hillsborough inquiry.
