Xercise4Less open new £1m gym

Yorkshire-based budget gym operator, Xercise4Less, has unveiled its brand new £1m state-of-the-art gym, in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent.

New club manager, Simon Pittman declared the King Street facility open to the public in the official ribbon cutting ceremony.

Joining him were several of the Xercise4Less team, who were on hand to showcase the club’s new high tech equipment to the city’s fitness fanatics.

The Stoke Xercise4less club brings the budget gym operator’s total investment in Staffordshire to £2m. The Group already operates one club in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

This latest site is located on Kings Street and boasts a number of trademark fitness zones including cardio, free weights, combat and a ladies only area, plus a large fitness studio that features over 40 free classes per week. Membership starts from just £9.99 per month.

Xercise4Less now has 28 clubs operating across the UK with 210,100 members and is set to launch up to 30 more clubs by the end of the year. The chain operates across the UK in regions including the North East, Yorkshire, North West and the Midlands.

With over 12 years’ experience in the fitness industry, Simon has a clear vision on what he wants to achieve in Stoke. He been with Xercise4Less for five months and since then has been driving memberships, resulting in an opening with a record number of members, most of which a first time gym users.

He said: “This is a very proud day for me and the team here. We are ecstatic to finally be able to welcome members through the doors. The team have worked extremely hard over the last few weeks to make sure the gym equipment looks fantastic ready for our new members, and from the response we’ve had today it proves it has all been worth it.
