Taylor&Emmet plays Tigers at own game

Employees from Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP are proving solicitors have what it takes to do battle on the rugby pitch as well as in the courtroom.

The sponsors of local rugby union side, Sheffield Tigers, are pitting their wits against friends and associates of the club in its special Summer Touch League.

A selection of mixed gender teams, representing corporate partners, parents of junior players and the club’s netball team, have been taking to the Tigers’ pitch every Friday evening through June and July and will enjoy one last match in this week’s Touch League finals.

Claire Fletcher, Taylor&Emmet’s marketing coordinator and Touch League team captain, said: “We’ve had a fantastic few weeks with the Tigers’ players and friends. Learning touch rugby has been lots of fun and a great way for me and my colleagues to develop stronger bonds that will no doubt enhance our working relationships. It has also been an excellent way to get to know the club better and discover how both organisations can make the most of our partnership.”

Sheffield Tigers RUFC plays in the National League 3 North. Taylor&Emmet has long associations with the club and is one of its official shirt sponsors.
