Leeds network solutions startup set for job creation

A new business specialising in data networks, security systems and electrical services launched in Leeds this week.

Dynamic Networks has a £300k forward order book and plans to create six new jobs over the next six months.

Based at Airedale House on Kirkstall Road in Leeds, the new company specialises in the design, specification and installation of structured cabling systems and wireless networks; security and access control systems, electrical installation, testing and maintenance; alarm and home automation systems.

Dynamic Networks is owned and run by James Baird, who has been managing the networks and electrical division of IT firm, Blue Logic, for the last seven years.

James believes that after operating as a subdivision of a multi-service company, he can now create his own specialist data networks, security and electrical systems business. He will be joined at Dynamic Networks by his former project manager at Blue Logic, Gareth Leece, business development manager Nicola Gordon and a team of four installers.

James envisages the team growing quickly to cope with demand for Dynamic Networks’ services, and hopes to create six new jobs over the coming months.

He said: “We’re off to a great start. We have a number of contracts in place with schools, offices and mixed-use developments in the region worth over £300k, and some other exciting projects in the pipeline. I’m already starting to look at a first wave of recruitment, and I’m keen to talk to talented data network and security system installers.”

As for the strategy of his new business, James says he has always taken an ‘old fashioned’ approach to customer service.

He added: “We combine traditional customer service values with the latest technological innovations, and our team has built a strong reputation with an impressive track record of work in the region. Customers of the new business can be assured that they will continue to experience the product and service quality they have come to expect from our team.”
