iVend Retail announced as Retail Systems Awards Finalist
Leading omnichannel retail solution provider, iVend Retail, has been shortlisted for the Mobile Technology Solution of the Year award in the 2015 Retail Systems Awards.
Now in its tenth year, the Retail Systems Awards highlight excellence and technology innovation in the retail space. Winning entries will come from those companies, individuals and organisations who have implemented the most outstanding initiatives or projects in the sector during the past year.
Recognised for its integrated mobile solution, which has been developed with today’s retailer in mind, iVend Retail takes mobile Point of Sale (mPOS) further, allowing brands to better manage what are increasingly less defined customer journeys.
Integral to iVend Retail’s shortlist nomination was its digital pass technology, which is deployed via Apple Passbook and Android devices. The cloud-based solution is driving the future of digital wallets by letting retailers engage and manage customer experiences via digital loyalty schemes, coupons and gift cards, which can be seamlessly integrated with the retailer’s POS.
“It’s a great achievement to receive industry recognition for our mobile solution,” said Richard Kolodynski, Senior Vice President European Operations at iVend Retail (part of Citixsys worldwide). “Following our recent launch into the European market just six months ago, it’s fantastic to be acknowledged as one of the technology companies leading the way in the mobile retail space.”
The winners of the Retail Systems Awards will be announced on 15 October 2015 at a ceremony in central London.
