Propus Law launches legal costs management report
Manchester based Propus Law has launched a new report to help law firms generate additional profit in today’s shrinking but increasingly contentious market.
Commenting on the report, Managing Director Mark Walmsley said:“The legal sector has undergone radical changes over the last few years. The Jackson reforms in particular ushered in significant changes.
“Aimed at reducing the costs of litigation, while delivering improved and more efficient access to justice, few issues have divided opinion more than costs budgeting.
“However, despite continued criticism from some quarters of the profession, the rules show no sign of becoming watered down. Indeed, if anything, the pattern of change is not set to stop any time soon.
“At Propus Law, our costs management experts have taken a look at the current state of the nation regarding the thorny issue of costs budgeting and have proposed a new approach to legal costs management; one that is designed to generate additional profit for law firms in today’s shrinking market.”
