Manchester firm to design in-flight activity pack for Germania fleet

The international arm of North West children’s product firm Milk Jnr’s has been chosen by one of Germany’s oldest airlines to create a new in-flight activity pack.

The deal will see the agency’s Kidworks division develop a product for Germania that features ‘Gerry’, the anthropomorphised aeroplane character from the airline’s branding. Once complete, the packs will be introduced across the airline’s 22-strong fleet in November.

Milk Jnr’s & Kidworks’ client services director, Zoe Telfer, said: “Germania has a strong heritage that spans some 30 years so we are delighted to now be working with the airline.

“Aviation is a key growth area for us so this is another project that will help to further strengthen our credentials and experience in the sector.”

The routes covered by Germania take passengers to over 140 spots around the world, including destinations in Europe, West Asia and North Africa.

Germania’s head of catering and in-flight, Sabine Tamm, commented: “We were really impressed with Kidworks’ understanding of our business and customer base.

“Providing our younger travellers with an enjoyable flying experience is very important to us so we are excited about the development and launch of the new pack.”
