Last chance for special membership at new spa

FITNESS enthusiasts looking to add some luxury to their exercise regime are being given the chance, thanks to one of the North East’s newest spas.

The multi-million pound Spa at Ramside opened its doors two weeks ago (Aug 15) and offered a limited number of Founder Member packages which give access to the spa and gym facilities plus a number of other benefits.

And now only a handful of the special packages remain – with would-be members having until August 31 to sign up.

The membership offer includes a number of introductory benefits such as a complimentary 60 minute treatment, one guest pass for a friend or family member and 4000 loyalty points to redeem against products, treatments or guest passes. The package also waives the joining fee.

As part of the package, members will have access to over 40 fitness classes, the hotel’s 25m swimming pool and one of the UK’s largest hydrotherapy pools, along with six thermal experiences including a Himalayan salt steam, a herbal infusion sauna, a caldarium, a sunken sauna, an aroma steam room and drench showers.

The hotel’s fitness suite, which is part of The Spa at Ramside, also offers members access to the integrated MyZone system to help monitor their progress and achieve their goals.

“We have already been overwhelmed by not only the number of day visitors we have but the amount of people that have already joined as members,” said Anthony Woodhouse, General Manager Spa and Leisure at Ramside.

“We were always planning to have a limited number of these special packages available so we want to remind people that there’s only a short time left to take advantage of this great offer.”

The new Spa at Ramside, which is part of the hotel’s ongoing £16m redevelopment, also houses Fusion restaurant, which offers Pan Asian cuisine, a balcony infinity pool and 14 treatment rooms, along with a Reef Hairdressing salon, a beauty snug and nail studio and a Rasul mud chamber.
