Leeds’ Lake Legal set for transpennine expansion
Leeds based, family law firm Lake Legal is expanding with the launch a new Manchester office.
These expansion plans follow Lake Legal boosting its team with the addition of three new lawyers in 2015.
Lake Legal will be based in Bartle House, next to the Football Association, in the centre of the city’s business district.
Lyn Ayrton, managing partner of Lake Legal, said: “After six years of growth in Yorkshire we decided it is time to expand across the Pennines. We have steadily grown a client base in and around Manchester, and it is the right time to open an office to support further growth. I believe there is a need for a small specialist practice in the city.”
The business is currently recruiting experienced lawyers to join the team in Manchester, and aims to build a practice of four in the next 12 months.
Lake Legal was named ‘Family Law Firm of the Year’ in the Yorkshire Legal Awards and has earned recognition in the top tier of firms in both Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500.
