Excello Law advises on Taylor Patterson Group acquisition
Excello Law advise Taylor Patterson Group in the £8 million acquisition to Mattioli Woods.
Taylor Patterson Group, founded in 1979, is a financial advisory and wealth management firm. Based in Preston but with clients all across the north west and 38 members of staff, Taylor Patterson Group generated pre-tax profits of £900,000 on revenues of £3.2 million in the year to 31st July 2015. The vendors will receive an initial £5 million for the acquisition, with £2.5 million in cash and the rest in 420,000 shares. The remaining £3.3 million will be paid following certain targets are met over the next three years.
Leicester based Mattioli Woods provides wealth management and employee benefits services, with offices in Aberdeen, Glasgow, London and Newmarket.
