Global software firm to create 50 jobs with new Leeds site
Global software licensing and services company, SoftwareONE has opened its first Northern office in Leeds following a surge of major account wins in the North of England.
With a presence in over 115 countries worldwide with 150 staff in the UK, SoftwareONE, which provides industry leading software solutions and services, has launched its first Leeds-based office to be more accessible to its portfolio of Northern-based clients and prospects.
Fourteen software experts have already joined the Leeds team and a further 8 are scheduled to start before the end of 2015.
The new office hopes to bring more than 50 new jobs to the city centre over the next 18 months.
Tracy Parish, head of Northern Accounts at SoftwareONE, said: “As a city, Leeds is the largest economic area in the country outside of London with over 109,000 businesses ranging from multinationals to dynamic SMEs.
“Establishing a presence for SoftwareONE in Leeds will not only create more jobs, but it will also present a huge opportunity for us to support the emerging and evolving technology scene in the North.
“We have invested heavily in the growth of the team in Leeds and will continue to do so, to ensure we can offer the very best, customer-focused service to new and existing clients.”
