Midlands law firm to host manufacturing risks event
Businesses involved in projects to create manufacturing plants and sites are being urged to attend a conference which will cover the risks to consider along the way.
Risks and Resilience in Manufacturing is a free event organised by Leamington law firm Wright Hassall which will explore the risks for businesses looking to design, build, finance, operate and manage process plant and manufacturing sites.
The conference takes place at Warwickshire College’s Warwick Trident Centre on the morning of Thursday, September 24 from 8.30am until 1.30pm.
Guest speakers include Professor Janet Godsell, Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Strategy at Warwick Manufacturing Group; Neil Keefe, Project Planning Manager at Jaguar Land Rover; and Warren Percival from project management consultancy RSK.
Michael Hiscock, senior associate in the construction and engineering team at Wright Hassall, will also be presenting. He said: “The process of leading projects from start through to finish involves so many risks along the way, and we’ll be looking closely at all the aspects businesses need to take into account.
“We’re delighted with the calibre of speakers who will be joining us to offer their insights to manufacturers and the supply chain at the conference on September 24.”
