Liverpool’s MSB Solicitors backs grassroots sport with Woolton FC sponsorship
Liverpool-based MSB Solicitors has become the official sponsor of Woolton Football Club in a bid to support grassroots sport in the city.
The club, which is based at Camp Hill in the Woolton area of South Liverpool, has been renamed MSB Woolton FC to reflect the sponsorship.
MSB Woolton FC currently operates around 70 football teams, from under-7s through to under-21s, in addition to a veterans’ team, open-age teams for men and women, and five girl’s teams between under-10s and under-16s.
MSB Woolton FC’s chairman, Dave Woods, said: “The club has undergone a real transformation in its 10 years, from what was a youth centre team to becoming an umbrella for 70 plus teams and reaching Charter Standard Community Club status.
“With the support of an established firm like MSB, we’re confident that we can go even further in realising some of the ambitions we have for the club.”
